44 Ways Moms Can Make Money
Posted by: | CommentsToday I wanted to share an awesome resource with you if you are a mom interested in making money from home.
I am being mentored by a wonderful lady. Her name is Carrie Wilkerson and she is better known as the Barefoot Executive. She has put together this resource to give women ideas about what they can do in their spare time while working from home to create an income for themselves. 44 women contributed their own stories so that this guide could be made to help other moms.
I highly recommend it if you are just getting started and don’t have a clue what you want to do! It’s only $11.00, what do you have to loose?

You Do Not Have To Be A Tech Geek
Posted by: | CommentsWhen talking to other moms that don’t have internet businesses, but are interested in doing so, I find that most are put off by the technical aspects of internet marketing. That need not stop you from building an online business. There are so many resources that meet you at your own level. From easy to use Squidoo pages, to blogging, to outsourcing all the technical aspects, you can find the help you need to get your business on the web.
Take yesterday for example. I know how do do a lot with WordPress. I can get a new one set up by myself with usually no problem & I set up this eBizmommy.com blog myself using a theme from iThemes premium WordPress themes. I even made my own header (the graphics at the top of the page.) But that doesn’t mean I know the in-depth code work necessary to figure out why my website kept crashing in the Internet Explorer browser window.
So what did I do? I asked someone who knew what they were doing to look at it. I posted on the support forum at iThemes on a Saturday night, and asked. I love iThemes because of the great WordPress themes they have as well as the awesome support. By Sunday Morning my problem was diagnosed. (By the way, never use the Firefox plugin Bi.tly if you write a WordPress blog…big glitches!!)
Ronald at iThemes, figured out what was happening on my computer when I was working on my site, and helped me fix it. I could have wasted days, or even given up, had I tried to find the problem myself…but an expert took just a little while to set things right.
Your time is valuable. I made the mistake early on to try and learn it all myself. I do know a lot about building websites and blogs now, but it took a lot of time I will never get back! Use the resources at your disposal for a quick and easy way to take your business idea and make it a reality! Don’t get bogged down in the technicalities. Do it if you like the challenge, or feel comfortable around computers, but outsource it if your don’t.
