Hi Marilyn,

You connected with me on Twitter and I've been perusing your blog - tons of great resources for moms! This post is absolutely right...too many times entrepreneurs and small business owners avoid marketing on the Web because it seems intimidating, expensive, time consuming, etc. Like you, I'm on a mission to disprove those myths and show my fellow entrepreneurs that anyone can learn how to be an Internet marketer and compete for online attention. I know accountants, dry cleaners, real estate agents and so on who started out completely lost as to what to do on the Internet and are now writing online articles, communicating on LinkedIn and blogging on a weekly basis. That's what I'm talking about!

Although I generally don't like to plug in blog comments, I do think your post is very timely to the book I just released. It's called eBoot Camp: Proven Internet Marketing Techniques to Grow Your Business and I wrote it with one simple mission: to empower people to take control of their Internet marketing and actively go out and find new business via the Web. You can go to www.ebootcampbook.com for more info.

with that, keep up the great work and I'm sure we'll be connecting often in cyberspace!

all the best,
