I Want To Work From Home… But Now What?
ByThe most important step you need to take after deciding to work from home, is to plan HOW you will make money from home. The choices are everywhere and having so many choices often leads to indecision. My biggest recommendation to you is to take the time before you jump in, to figure out upfront WHAT you want to do & HOW you will do it. Just don’t use indecision as an excuse not to start. Even if you think there are a few ways you would like to try, choose one that you feel has the potential to have some success right away. If you choose an easy model to follow, instead of a more complex model, you can start building your confidence and can move on to your bigger ideas when you have more experience & opportunity.
There are basically 3 main ways for moms to make money online:
1.) Work for Others as an Employee
2.) Freelance & Provide Services
3.) Sell & Promote Products
This list seems simplistic but most of the ways you, as a mom, can make money online from home fit into one of these 3 categories.
Over the next few weeks I will be exploring these 3 ways for you to create an income for yourself from home.
Another main obstacle women have is choosing their “niche“ or in other words, which field of expertise or interest they want to follow in order to make their money from home. I will also be covering this in more detail over the next few weeks as well, as it is often a major stumbling block for many women.
Your action for today:
Write down your working preferences- Do you just want a steady paycheck? Do you enjoy fulfilling tasks for others? Are you independent and want to go your own way?
Write down 10 niches you feel you have expertise or interest in – This is a brainstorming session. Just write anything that comes to mind. If you’re anything like me you won’t be able to stop at 10. 
That’s OK, write down as many as you can!
